Guest slugmonkey Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Agree with ventilation but baytril is too harsh and too expensive these anti's are respitory specific
Guest IB Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 'slow in training, well behind on raceday' are you getting them ? are they weezing after flying?.......they're not just fat/unfit? just to be sure before you rush to the vet(ok) I'd go along with that. I wouldn't be treating for anything unless I knew exactly what was wrong. Doesn't sound like illness to me (1) you wouldn't get near a race basket if there was even a hint of something wrong with your birds at Marking, and (2) sick birds don't fly - at all - they wouldn't just be late from the race, you'd be lucky to get them home.
