Guest IB Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 to look at the birds they look in good health the watels are as white as snow and dry and no one eye colds Rather than treating blind, I would recommend a second sample be sent to a different company for a second opinion. I do not think there is any relationship between sneezing and high bacterial count. Lots of bloom, dust and feathers around at this time of year. High bacterial count is also half a story. What are these bacteria? I asked him before, he doesn't know, and would need to send them off for a lab analysis to find out - more money of course. I also suspected my high bacterial count was friendly bacteria. I'd given them a probiotic less than a week before taking the swab / samples. I don't think he expects to come across friendly bacteria outside the intestine. But they're there in the crop at least, and maybe on the throat lining too.
