anybody can copy things aff the internet bart,

 

 

No wasn't copied off anywhere - the mineral and grit mixes have been well discussed on this forum, and the last discussion about minerals funnily enough was that they contain chlorine; the calcium imbalance thing was brought up on this forum by another member, under 'parathyroid' and and in me own defence, Tam its one thing to read & copy stuff off the net, quite a different matter to be able to read and understand it.

Aye but what suppliment do they from the cement

 

I know mine pick at the mortar joints between the bricks, and sometimes at the bricks themselves, but I haven't a clue why - there's grits, minerals and pickstone there for them.

Admit hopeless at writing nowadays - usually tie myself in knots, but was easy to understand what affect DoveScot's adding lime to a balanced mineral mixture would have - it would become unbalanced - just like a few on here  ;D

 

Time to try lime by the dash rather than the bottle?  ;D

Thats a good balance "you and Bruno", like ying and yang, one fairly balanced, one fairly unbalanced ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Unhinged, coming apart at the seams, yes, but unbalanced? That's only when I used to walk with one foot in the sheugh and one on the pavement, nowadays its thro carrying one basket load of doos.  ;D  Maybe I need to carry two baskets or start walking with one foot in the sheugh again when carrying one?  ;D

i use a product called NAF limestone it is used for horses most plces that stock horsey stuff should have it , imake up pinhead oatmeal the old hab]nd way with cod liver oil then dry it of by useing the lime makes a big difference to theirdroppings feed lots when reasring young ,
