this bird was caught by some kids and they brought it to me as im the only one i the area with pigeons i think its a wood pigeon but at the minute its in the shed it looks about 4 to 5 weeks old but where they found it i ccat see any nests about what do i do and im not the type of person that would kill a bird for no reason

It is a young Wood Pigeon. If it can fly and feed itself, I would be inclined to release it back into the wild.

i agree wi bob as they dont like bein held captive take it 2 where theres a wood or forest and release it,, jmo

we had 1 kept it in and fed and waterd it then let it go it cums owa on the loft nw and then and sits ther then flys away

its about 4 or 5 weeks old still yellow fluff on it not ccovered under wings

you will have to keep for a week make sure there is some suger in its drink and some small seed  after a week and it then should be flying well so you can let it go

try and find somewhere there are other woodies should not be hard

funny buggers ;D ;D its not eating healthy so fingers crossed it might take o i a ew days hopefully ot flying around the shed yet but was also thinking plump it up for me dinner some day lol

we put a yellow clip ring on one we rescued, it visited us for food most days.
