Ionizer

Hi do any one use an Ionizer in there loft are they any good

Bought a gadget in a 2-for-1 newspaper offer that includes 'an ionising feature that gives out a stream of negative ions which help destroy airborne pollutants and bacteria'.

 

My understanding of it was that it simply kept the air dust-free. Certainly does that - I've deep litter and a mesh false ceiling. There's dust trapped in the mesh ceiling  and dust on the floor, but definately none airborne.

 

Don't know if I'd have bought it just for this though, its there as a pest-repeller, insects and rodents.
