sent last week and was a super fast race.... winning  birds averaged 2300ypm..went into loft later on and birds were resting...noticed nearly all the race birds whattles were a pink colour......3 days later no better..the odd 1 seems a little darker in colour.

usually sign they hit rain enroute.

 

Never heard of wattles being pink as good form, ceres and wattles should be snow white.

should'nt be more than a day or two max. It been raining when you let them out lately? I'd be vigilant, resp is so easy to get when on transporter in damp and changeable conditions.

was told it was a sign of fitness it can show around the eye as well :)
