pink whattle

sent last week and was a super fast race.... winning  birds averaged 2300ypm..went into loft later on and birds were resting...noticed nearly all the race birds whattles were a pink colour......3 days later no better..the odd 1 seems a little darker in colour.

just an idea doing that speed might have an effect on blood vessels in the wattle

usually sign they hit rain enroute.

 

Never heard of wattles being pink as good form, ceres and wattles should be snow white.

there was rain on-route..i wander how long to go back to normal......

should'nt be more than a day or two max. It been raining when you let them out lately? I'd be vigilant, resp is so easy to get when on transporter in damp and changeable conditions.

It is showing your birds are in condition,
