when is the best time to vacc for pmv ,as the young birds are done

in 09 ,when u jag old birds 2010 do u do the lot again or what? :-/ :-/ :-/

do mine at end of old bird raceing with ybs at same time

Old birds all done in October and Ybs are done in April when all weaned. SL

i do all my birds in the split  week between old bird racing and young birds that way my young birds are covered to race as young birds and yearlings

Depends on when YBs were done in 09, some left it till 2/3 weeks before YB racing and these are OK for racing this year as yearlings without further vaccination; I try do my YBs shortly after weaning, so 09 YBs and OBs will be done this weekend, prior to me pairing them up the following weekend.

 

I would never train birds that hadn't been vaccinated, too risky. Would need to check, but I think its a legal requirement that they need to be vaccinated prior to training too, not just racing.

mind you my stock birds never get vaccinated or wormed or canker treat ment in fact they dont have any treat ment any one else do this with there stock birds
