I HAVE AQUIRED A BAG OF WHEATGERM POWDER, FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, OUT THE HEALTH SHOP, I WAS THINKING OF MIXING A LITTLE COD LIVER OIL TO THEIR MIX AND A SPRINKLE OF THIS WHEAT GERM POWDER ON IT ,WHILST THEIR BREEDING,

DOES ANYONE THIMK THIS IS ADVISABLE OR NOT,

we use wheatgerm oil on a daily basis, we use a product called Chisholm Trail Health Products and use the Wheatgern oil to bind the powder to the feed.

I tried it Jimmy, when they were moulting.   I used olive oil to bind it to the pigeon mix but I don't know whether it made any diference or not!! :

I use the weatgerm oil also when adding Brewers Yeast to the feed

I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT OLIVE OIL,COULD EVEN TRY THAT

Olive Oil's all right on a greek salad Jimmy, but I think it may be too rich for the birds.

 

Just my opinion
