thanks, ray.

that's what i did this morning. gave the breeders just 30ml in 2 liters of tap water this morning. our Yakult bottle here is 80ml.

i have a feeling most of the birds vommited coz there was water on the paper liner of their cages. maybe, they are not used to it yet. but they ate fine during the afternoon feeding.

Westy. yakult is a japanese brand of a health drink. it is Lactobaccilli casei or shirota. others will correct me if I am wrong. Good source of probiotics.

the birds obviously dont like it if they vomit it back . Yakult is for human consumption it amazes me that fanciers are prepared to give their birds anything in the mistaken believe that it will help them win keep things natural. :)

Hi Shadow

Have given Yakult to the birds for the last three years, without any problems

Must admit i was concerned that Shoguns bird's started to vomit,

never had this problem with any of mine, if i had i would not give it to them.

Thats exactly what it is expensive live yoghurt, best of with pigeon probiotics.

I've used a similar probiotic drink thingy from the supermarket, didnt do any harm, won a few cards while using it. Got the tip off a top prize winner in my fed, he used it every week.
