Guest j v ward Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 does using hemp seed oil on corn do any good
Guest IB Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 I use it once a month. Asda do a bottle (distinctive tall black bottle) called Good Oil, a Cold Pressed Hempseed oil, Light, for around £6. I've found 60ml of it ideal for getting my probiotic (Flightpath) on the food, once a month. Although it gets on the birds head and face feathers when they eat the grain (barley) being a very light oil, it 'clears' overnight, and the birds feathers are unaffected by next day.
Lennut Tar Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 does using hemp seed oil on corn do any good I've used it in the past, 100% organic & I got it through my daughter etc, who works for a Naturopath (interesting field). But I'm afraid to say !!!!!, I was a wee bit dissapointed in it & I didn't really see all that much difference etc for the birds. But no harm in trying it, if it takes your fancy. I could tell you, a lot worse things you could give them ;D ;D ;D. Enjoy
