OLDYELLOW Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 well done at your 1st post, are you refering to racing pigeons or fancy pigeons ? i feed Junior 'O' to my young birds then the trend seems to be feeding gerry when racing
Guest milkyal Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 yer racing birds, i am feeding Junior 'O' at moment. heard so much about this GERRY plus is it good. Years ago i feed wizardhood mix from spillers, but you cant get that any more.
OLDYELLOW Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 gerry has no protein but the protein is replaced with fats seeds ok for the sprint races but need to add more protein for the longer ones , or change the corn
Guest milkyal Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 our race programme is 94mls, 133mls, 150mls, 177mls and 255mls. so would you feed gerry up to 150mls then go onto a protien mix?
OLDYELLOW Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 be ok up to 177 mile id say ,id use a superwidowhood mix personaly for longer ones can get up to 512 miles on it
