Anyone using this as a feed, have read in an old pigeon racing book its a great energy-producer and replacer?

 

heres another one a old hand told me get a baking tray and slow cook some wheat or barley for about 20 minutes gas mark 5 they love it ;) carbohydrates make instant energy  ;)

I'm not sure what unpolished rice is. I feed brown rice which is 'white rice with it's coat left on'. This 'coat' is usually removed, but it contains vitamins, and these are obviously lost during processing.

Did a little more research on this and found out unpolished rice is also known as Paddy rice because its the rice that comes direct from the paddy fields before the husks are removed and it is cleaned up (polished). I noticed Versele-Laga have it in some of there grain mixes.
