Visit to the store

Ive been to the local pigeon store today just for a few bits. Young bird high protein £9.50, a bag of grit £7.00 and a block of pickstones £5. Where does the money go; to the store or manufacturing companies? The corn is now all in 20 KG bags as is the grit, but it looks like its getting to the price it was when it was 25 KG bags.

 

What is everyone buying at the stores and how much is it costing?

I paid £20.00 for a long handled scraper a month or so ago, i nearly passed out when i came to pay  :'(

Doesnt sound too bad really considering its 25 KG bags. Up here it would cost £91 just for the high protein lol

What is BJF Feeds like? Do they supply other stores with corn, or just sell it themselves? I have used them for loft products before, but not used their corn.

i think the corn is first class cannot fault it one bit

last visit .. VERSEL LAGA BEST ALL ROUND (20KG) £10.65 .                                               BAMFORDS BARLEY (20KG)  bought 2 sacks = £10.20 , so thats £5.10 per sack .                 NATURAL GRIT (25 KG ) SACK = £ 8.00 .                                          andy.

i too use the bjf feeds and have found it to be a good corn and a good price for 25kg

 

 

tip for long handled floor scrapers is go to decorating shop i bought a scraper for £4.50 and there only the same as you see in the big supply shops for £14 each

 

it gains a tenner for being renamed a loft floor scraper lol

other brands .

hi at the pet shop where i work the young bird mix high protein is £8.20 but i get it free  8) 8) 8)

not used it but 1 local feed shop has countrywide in store think there 25 kg bags :-/  if you add pigeon to the products up goes the cost
