pjc Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 its all about how its stored! whats difference with plastic bags and keeping corn in a plastic dustbin? Nothing, they can both sweat the same!
Guest shippy Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 corn put into plastic bags must be snuff dry or you will get mould and a heap of probs with your birds
blaz Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 all my pigeon food is in paper bags then i put paper bag in plastic bins. any seed in plastic bag or bin will sweat
Guest Jargre- Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 If corn is so bad in plastic bags why do they sell it in them? Leave the bag to breath and it should be fine, no substitute for Hessian Cloth sacks though.
Guest IB Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Bucktons changed over to plastic bags a couple of years back. Was sold in double-walled paper bags before that. Prefer to empty the bags into a plastic bin with lock-down lid.
