OLDYELLOW Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 stay clear of wild bird food peanuts they have a high rate of mould on exceeding human consumption they'll make your birds very ill , buy human grade from your local supermarket i get mine from morrisons shelled red skins

Guest bakes Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 i give my birds peanuts the ones that human eats get mine from were i work sainsburys they have 3 each a day all giving from the hand to each bird a good corn to give for that extra protein and fat if you do it right the fat will turn to energy thats what you wont all the best.
Guest strapper Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 i give my birds peanuts ..loads..i dont want to contradict any other posts but ive been a big feeder of peanuts,it wouldnt be strange for a bird (if fast enough) to get 15nuts in a day... i cant underestimate how big peanuts are in my racing season..but each to their own. you have to do what you feel.
