do you feed farm corn or winter mix once racing has finished, if you go on to racing corn when do you start to feed your race team the good corn, any help thanks

thanks lads, for your replies. its a shame these topics that go in other catagories don't get the replies it should,as those that are on the main forum. but every sites different but once again thankyou lads

for me most winter mixes i see are basicaly a farm mix anyhow so i think six and two three,s

in my opinion ray, i would tend to feed a good protein  mix untill the moult is completely finished to ensure a perfect moult,, then as the nights are darker , the birds exercise less   , they tend to put on fat,, i often find barley at this time is  a good weight leveler,, but b4 mating would give them a mix for a week or so, again when they are sitting,,they have  less exercise  so again a lighter diet, but once feeding yb,s , as much protein mix  as they will eat, usualy whilst feeding big youngsters, they will eat less maize, i put a couple of spoon fulls  baby milk in their water at this time , ,,once yb,s have been separated,, then on to a racing mix that will suit you, i,e depending on the distances you want to go for,, good luck  :)

whatever is left over from racing until it is used up and then moulting mix.
