PigeonTracker Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 I've has a number of requests via p.m to start a thread to let everyone throw questions to me regarding Pigeon Tracker and what we might be able to offer our customers so fire away. I won't promise to be able to answer every post but I'll certainly do my best.

Thanks for the kind words Flighty Hen, S*expletive removed*horpe run was a nightmare in the weather so the driver tells me, 6 hours of solid rain on the way back but at least all birds were delivered on time as promised.
Guest cloudview Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 will you ring the collection adress the day before to make sure somebody will be in
Ronnie Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 what sort of prices and what delivery areas do you cover.
PigeonTracker Posted September 3, 2008 Author Report Posted September 3, 2008 will you ring the collection adress the day before to make sure somebody will be inYes, we have a system in place that also means we phone you on the day to confirm your in, (things can crop up such as an emergency at home etc). We do this for both finder and owner. We then phone both shortly before we arrive to confirm details and to let you know to put the kettle on.
PigeonTracker Posted September 3, 2008 Author Report Posted September 3, 2008 what sort of prices and what delivery areas do you cover. We cover the whole of the UK although we don't do single drops up to Scotland for example unless by special request. As for cost you'd be better to go over to our holding page http://www.pigeontracker.com/ (Excuse the mess, we're re-designing). You'll find the basics there and just to be transparent outside of Wales is pretty much based on how far we have to go, how many birds per trip and so on. You won't find us dearer than Amtrak and our service is certainly better.
jimmy_84 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 is this service only for stray collection or is it a courier service
Guest strapper Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 is this service only for stray collection or is it a courier service wots the difference , i wouldnt think they be grudge u if ur pigeon isnt a stray lol.....i am told they are reliable.
PigeonTracker Posted September 3, 2008 Author Report Posted September 3, 2008 wots the difference , i wouldnt think they be grudge u if ur pigeon isnt a stray lol.....i am told they are reliable. There isn't really any difference, we take the pigeon from point A to point B, and more importantly as jimmy pointed out, in a reliable fashion. Last thing we want is to say we're coming one day, have you sit around all day waiting and then not turn up which is just one of the stories being told to us by a growing number. Should have mentioned we've also delivered new birds to customers in the past if that makes any difference.
flighty hen Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 wots the difference , i wouldnt think they be grudge u if ur pigeon isnt a stray lol.....i am told they are reliable. yes strapper they are, personally I wouldn't deal with anyone else now.
Mighty Flyer Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 yes strapper they are, personally I wouldn't deal with anyone else now. Same here.... Very organised
mickf Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 ARE THE PRICES PER PIGEON OR SO MUCH FOR SO MANY ?
PigeonTracker Posted September 3, 2008 Author Report Posted September 3, 2008 ARE THE PRICES PER PIGEON OR SO MUCH FOR SO MANY ?The price is only per pigeon if they are to different areas. If they are to and from the same point then it would be one pric for up to 4 birds, say for arguments sake £30, then it would be something like £2.50 per bird after as long as they were going to the same place. Hope that helps. Jamie
