OLDYELLOW Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 if i fell out with courier 'a' and did not want to use there services any more then if i went to newer company 'b' then i would not want company 'b' to use company 'a' to transport my birds ( theoreticaly speaking ) , the couriers you booked should be the ones carrying not another firm you aint booked
Guest bigda Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 nope, just pigeon fanciers trying to track pigeons tracker
OLDYELLOW Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 unless stated that you may use another courier and state name then the customer can choose wether ot not to up take the service on offer

PigeonTracker Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 i asked them to pick 2 birds up on moday they got in touch with pigeon tracker who promised to pisk them up at 6am this morn they never did!!!!!so i wont be bothering with these agan!If we'd arranged to pick up a bird for you today I can assure you it would have been. So that I can check the facts rather than deal in fiction perhaps giving me the order details in the appropriate manner might help, I can then clarify wether you actually made an order or not and if you cancelled or not, or if you failed to confirm you'd actually be there when we phoned you and so on. Look forward to the information being passed on to me. Jamie

jimmy_bulger Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 had bird picked up by PT 7.30 tues delivered 10.am wed as arranged am happy with the service.
OLDYELLOW Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Spanish inquisition i feel not , reading between the lines oh yes ( nods like the dog of churchill )
PigeonTracker Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 i asked them to pick 2 birds up on moday they got in touch with pigeon tracker who promised to pisk them up at 6am this morn they never did!!!!!so i wont be bothering with these agan! You were actually on one of our routes but as we couldn't contact the destination as you either couldn't or wouldn't give out their telephone number. I'm sure you'll understand as I explained to you on the phone, we can't pick up a bird we don't know we can deliver, it might mean we'd have to take the bird back which is simply not on. Lesson to be learnt from this is that if the fancier wants a good courier service then they have to work with them as much as possible. It isn't ever going to be a case of one way traffic where either fancier or courier dictates, you simply have to work together. In response to OldYellow and Chris.... If Pigeon Tracker and any other courier were to join forces it would only ever be done if it were likely to benefit the fancier. You, along with any other interested parties will be the first to know if, as, and when anything of this nature happens. Point of fact we're talking to quite a few smaller couriers with a view to creating a service we've all wanted for a long time but never got.
