I had an email from a non fancier who live up in Sutherland - Strathy Point - He snapped this red cheq sporting a GB ring. Its being well looked after, living with the rock doves at the minute!

PS I couldnt find anyway of attaching the pic in the 'lost and found section?'

"Hello

don't know if you can help or not - but has there been any racing going on in my area in the last five days? My wife and I run a B & B on on Strathy Point, on the Far North Coast of Sutherland (24 miles west of Thurso)

- We've got a permanent 'flock' of Rock Doves here and this pigeon (see photo) turned up four days ago and seems quite happy with the doves. We fed it for two days, but it shows no interest in continuing on it's way (What route could this bird have been on way up here?) We think the number starts with GB but can't get close enough... any advice appreciated..

Sorry for lack of details!

PS we run a B & B; http://www.a1tourism.com/uk/catalina.html which gives more idea of our location and contact details.."
