    I had a talk with Bernie,  (a very nice guy) who told me that it was registered, (last year) in the name of  Henry Ralston, who through illness has retired from the game. So rather than complicate matters, I will report it to the RPRA. He said that the bird should have been stamped, because it carries a GB ring.(RPRA Rules). And he reckons the reason why Scottish OBs aint stamped, has something to do with your stray centre.

 

:)i had a hen in of Henry Ralston myself about 2 years ago a real bueaty , had flown Lille for him twice , good distance lines . was tossed at manchester twice only to return and was transferred to me ,raced from france several times .a good long distance hen (chrisss on here has some of her offspring)  if it was in my loft and he didnt want it try and settle and race , breed from it ,worth a try .     andy

May Vic add, that at marking night our birds can be checked by the handler at any time. On verification, of winning birds, if not stamped. DISQUALIFIED!

that is 1 stuffed  up rule why do they not want old birds stamped i just would like to know as it is easier and quicker to report straight to owner than it is to shu as most people will not report birds if they are not stamped , you should have a wing stamp with the shu number on

thats the way the vote goes carlsberg?? but their can be reasons for this ,,,fairly obvious ones
