5 miles i done 2 tosses at 2 miles then move them on to 5 miles just got one back 2 mins ago

thats a good sign...hopefully you'll get a good few tommorow. fanciers have told me that sometimes if you toss to close to home and they are fit and keen they'll overshoot . but i know when i started i was nervous as hell training ybs...stick with it :)

sorry to hear about you losses thomas , but can i give you a bit of advice re training youngsters .  dont mess about at 2 miles  your insulting their intelligence, what usually happens is that up and gone like bats out of hell straight over their own area , and just keep going then panick , 20 mile firt toss , after theyve done tenmile or so then they start looking for home   believe me it works more lost on short tosses than anything else
