paul10121968 Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 must be somewhere yes they will turn up in about 3 week and some one will say it just came in do you what it back (evil) YES i will go and get them wherever they are, there are two blues amongst them out of a pair of stock birds that i bought, they have three bars on them instead of the usual two and i,m a sucker for the three bared blues.i sometimes wonder if other fanciers keep them in instead of reporting, but some of us are really pationate about our birds and would do anything to get them home.i,m putting an advert in the bhw,pm your lost ring numbers and i will include them if you want.
pjc Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 its time to accept you will prob never see them again! Sorry reality check, either killed or just flown away and dropped when exhausted, possibly just not good enough or they'd have found there way home.
thunderboult Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 if your lucky and they drop in somewhere tidy you may get em back, if've had 2 in this week, one guy phoned me this morning to say he had the bird back safe and sound last night. the other i'll drop near his loft this week.
pjc Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 it is nice to see them back and if they've got anything about them they'll turn up. A fancier from Carmarthen was suposed to collect 1 from here last monday, still waiting!

Sorry reality check, either killed or just flown away and dropped when exhausted, possibly just not good enough or they'd have found there way home. i.ll keep looking out for them you never know, they are quite valuable to me because i keep a small team and every one counts.i have reported four strays in the last three weeks,2 were picked up immeadiately,1 was tossed near its home but has not returned back to its owner and the other one has been sent back to within 5 miles of its home but keeps coming back to me.
