I have my birds split since the last race, one month before my hens are fed a depurative with added maple peas (as it has been cold) and hemp as i all ways have but i think that it helps the birds egt the horn,  i donk know if that is true but i have always done it, i also 2 weeks beforre have the lights come on at 5 in the morning,  2 months before i treat with altabactine, i dont jab but next year i am, and i also treat with 3 in 1 cocci, canker and hexamitius,  i beleive that you only need the canker treatment but i like that product i get

Thats about it i think, Thanks  :)

Also,  have you got any tips on getting your eggs around the same time,     I am just pairing up now andfind myself,  letting the cocks out for a fly,  then i put the bowls in and lety them come in to an empty bowl, after 1 hour when they are all in the bowls i go in and shut the doors,  i put a front on the other half of the box so that there is 2 sections closed in,  i then put my pick of hen in the other side,  untill the cock slows down his game,  by this time the birds are normally all paired up anyway,   but i find thatr it helps the hen not feel to much under pressure or get battered by the cock,

Last year i had 11 out 0f 12 pairs lay eggs on the same day,  the 12th pair layed the next
