Guest spin cycle Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 best to get them bred , out and about and shut back in before racing starts. i don't want to be messing around with ybs early in racing season also you can get them going training with ob later in ob season. also keep their feather so no need to darken ( i think) ???
demolition man Posted January 2, 2010 Author Report Posted January 2, 2010 i think the advantage is you have to feed them longer . you have to start training earlyer . you have to either work nights or dont work at all lol because it will be dark when you first wean them and you will need to get them out but if you work 9 to 5 you wont get time to let them out , there bred in the cold so no where near as well reared as spring or summer babys , a lot of older cocks will not fill there eggs see theres loads of advantages So you recommend it then pmsl ;D
Guest Paulo Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 upto this year iv allways raced late march - april yb,s but had chance of some well bred ybs cheap and bought them and they was in my loft end of jan begining of feb and to be honest even tho my own bred yb,s raced well these early bred showed them the way home and have gone staight thro moult better than my own so i am pairing earlier this year Are they mine rodders?
