i have had linda from the shu contact about a non fancier from livingston with a pigeon which belongs to a member of mine who no longer flies pigeons, nor can i get in contact with him, what i am askin for is a fancier who stays in or near livingston to collect the pigeon and either release it or linda says she can transfer the ring number, all i need to give her is the loft number.

picked up the pigeon had a broken keil and the finder didnt want it to be kulled so i promised her that i would cut the ring off and let it go. I done that and she said to her little daughter maybe sometime we will see it in Bathgate.

thanks rick just the same as I thought so get it up them all. say what they want if they think what I done was bad they should have went for it there selves ;D

Its the main bone structure that forms the pigeons body, running from just under the grain bag to the vents at the rear of the pigeon. I believe its pronounced keel bone.

Thank you.  Makes me wonder if my stray is sound now. I too wouldn't know if it had that type of injury, I guess. Will this pigeon that they're talking about heal in time, even if not up to racing standard?
