Furzepig Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 The bird (SU 07AB640) turned up on my balcony the middle of last week. I reported it to the phone number for the Scottish Homing Union and they said they'd let the owner know. However, the phone number they have for the owner is incorrect and I've heard nothing since; I'm still looking after the bird meantime. As the SHU seem to be closed today I did a bit of searching and found this forum. The poor mite could do with somewhere better to live than a cardboard box so I'm hoping the owner is a user here. The bird is from Aberdeenshire, though I'm in Fife. If the owner reads this, please send me a private message or post a reply here. Or if anyone has other suggestions on how I could track them down... ? Any help gratefully received!
Guest Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 Sorry you have not had better response from SHU, Fife is full of pigeon fanciers and I hope one of them from this forum will contact you. The bird belongs to Mastrick Club, Secy G Reid tel 01224-789442. Don't put your own phone number up, I will have someone contact you by pm for it, and hopefully get the bird picked up. Thanks for your trouble and looking after this young pigeon.
