hi all surely this is wrong , ? as bird isnt wat ring says , and why have a race rubber if not racing ? i think there was a bit of deception going on , ok send for trainning yes i maybe would do same but who can say that he wasnt going to clock it  ??????

wouldnt be able to clock it, as all rubbers used for the race have a number that must match with the ring number, and if he clocked it and the rubber didnt correspond with any of his pigeons that he sent to the race then he would be disqualified

Tomorrow will be my 3rd trainer at YB races with 2 yearling latebreds and a 2yo., all hens.

These birds are ets rung but in 1st x 2 races carried a race rubber. Tonight it was decided as they were carrying ets rings, no need for a rubber - not race marked just straight into basket and obviously don't compete in the race.

Quite common to put trainers away with a rubber and as post says, the rubber detail isn't recorded and the rubber is just a visual that the bird has gone thro marking system OK..
