griffiths Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 two days ago now a pidgeon flew into my caravan must have thought to be its home ive fed it with bread and gave him water,ive noticed he got a red ring on his leg but when i try to catch him he flys away ive tried all sorts ive lured him into the caravan but he goes straight back out how do i catch him as i am only 16 and know limited infomation about pidgeons if any body could give me any info please i would be grateful griffiths
Guest peter.j Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 thanks for trying to help him,try feeding him rice rather than bread mate ,if you could throw a towel over him/her it might be possible to catch it this way ,if you do catch it open the wings and sometimes the owners phone number will be stamped on a feather ,if there isnt a phone number come on here and let us know what numbers are on the ring on its leg and we will try to help find where its from.....pete
