R.D.G Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 IHU 09 S 3089, I'm not sure what any of this means but it also had a yellow plastic tag on it's leg aswell. I found it in Bangor, Northern Ireland. Also, I have the ring that was around the leg if it's worth having to anyone, I don't know.. :S Could someone reply and tell me where the pigeon came from because i'm actually quite curious. Thanks.

Babybird Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 was born in 2009 so is what we call a young bird. There are a few on here that collect / trade rings (not for money tho I don't think tho).
Guest slugmonkey Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 There is some selling going on just look on e-bay
pjc Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 please remember before all the collectors or sellers make a claim on the ring that it is the proporty of the registered owner! The dead pigeon that you have found should be reported to the Irish Homing Union so the owner can be informed of the fate of his bird. We all like to know where our birds have ended up, dead or alive! Phil
