chichichi Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 have 2 birds reported this week,, one in belgium and 1 found dead in holland,, the belgium one was lost at lessay in france and has topped the fed this year..lol.. and the dead one in holland was at ramsgate with a north east wind,, hopefully we will get the belgium one back... any belgiums on here that want to help..lol.. goodluck for the weekend ant

pjc Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Often the short channel races don't give the birds a run at the water so when they see the water they follow the coast instead of crossing. Last year a lot of people didn't get to race over the water so there will be a lot of birds going that have never seen the channel. Phil

chichichi Posted May 30, 2008 Author Report Posted May 30, 2008 phil always improving the blood line,, but we'll see,, a few years ago we had some serious bargains,, now they are mega bucks..lol.. 1 year the oldman went to luc van hoeckes,, he was friendly with dai fatstock,, so the oldman had 2 for 40 euros,, you go there now and you will pay £200 a bird..lol... also cyriel denduiver you try to go there and buy breeders,, no chance,, we bought a pair for 100 euros,, they have bred 2 x 1st fed and 2 x 2nd fed,, you must remember there are also rubbish there,, the thing is to find the diamond in the rough.. lol goodluck all ant
