a tale of 2 strays

had 2 yb  strays in last 24 hrs. first 1 in good nick with tel ring. from ring list and tel code deduced it was from london...luckily a mate is going down tommorow so that 1 is sorted . when we rang the bloke he was relieved as he's amtraked 3 this week allready...poor bugger. second stray is beat up but i think will be ok. the ring is a 'classic' club  and the wingstamped is so faint and smudged it can't be read. now , to my mind, anybody good enough to fly classics should be able to wingstamp correctly and this leads me to think the owner doesn't want his strays reported. how can you help people like this. of course i could be wrong but we'll see as i've reported ring no to rpra...if i'm right i'm in for a sob story
