We have a Grizzle Family and the Orignals all go back to Andra Deans of Bothwells Ref G which we purchased at his 1st Sale .They are  no good for club racing but when the tough gets going and the velocities are below 1000 they come  on.

I think I remember that cock, Andrew had said he'd a few enquiries about it from south of the border, asking if it was a Kirkpatrick; he said his grizzle family's 'grizzle factor' had come from another old Scottish grizzle family, Mason 1210.

I've a grizzle family too, original goes back to a hen from George & Gareth Rankin, whose pedigree is a fair mixture, and includes your own grizzle cock, on one side. Current generation seems about to take off too.

You are quite right but what is the point in looking for Kilpatrick Grizzels if they cannot fly over the roof.Holiday is superb but now getting fed up.Will see you in the Doo Club on Saturday if your not working as i am choking for a decent pint and we have a lot of banter to catch up with.Sales on the Ref G grizzels for next year are almost complete and Jock The Lum is getting nane.
