have you dropped your PC into your base and let it update as last week few northeast lads had issues with clocked birds saying not same secret # against birds I spoke with one guy who had one assigned on night and that was only bird registered on race day but he marked for race before updating his loft base  and that's only conflict I can see as if PC in race mode the update went through the motions but would not finalise to pocket clock so maybe same other way round worth checking your base has updated to version 3.22 when your clock dropped in

no replies and I've herd people coming to marking and not had clock in base WHY WOULD YOU hope all ok tomorrow for everyone but going by last week's info this week be double trouble hope not but waiting for phone to start

Well calls have started base been updated and still birds showing not same secret # with sc7  at end on sheet  with other bloke only recent assignments clocking and others showing not same secret # again big big problems unikon needs to sort it

Put my base station on today and the display is very hard to read any ideas what's wrong with it anyone

If been off for a while might just need time to charge battery up

which battery lol its connected to a 12 v battery or the mains to power it nothing to do with any memory batteries that are inside

If u have base station and clock disconnected over the winter some times when u first set it back up might take day or 2 to fully charge I've had couple our members phone to say there battery is flashing low but told them leve it day 2 be fine and they were maybe that's why it's not fully showing up to read on yours just need time to fully charge jmop tho hope might help u

nothing charges when you plug it in I can assure you and which battery is flashing low screen is dependent on external power not internal that's just for memory  where are you getting info from

It's coming up battery OK, there is a small hole in the bottom of the clock for screen adjustment, put a small screw driver in to adjust seems to be a bit better,I googled it last night and someone already had the same issue and called unikon they told them to try this,thanks for the input

One of our members sent 7 birds and only his last one recorded with the first six being shown as 'not same SECRET' ,needs sorting ASAP as members are having their racing ruined.

Mick, can I ask. Were the clocks deleted from the Unikon software on your computer before

they had been upgraded with the new download, then added back into the system before being placed in members own base station.  John b

99% sure now its trainers in base they must be deleted before marking or that's the ones that come up not same secret it's a flaw in the update they haven't thought about wernt a problem before but now it won't let you delete them when PC put in base it loads them onto clock and the secret code put in at marking isn't on the ring when it previously went into base so throws up the secret code crack  delete all trainers and late comers after clock was struck before next marking until unikon can sort

Has Unikon acknowledged that there is a problem, at the moment we're stripping all clocks after the race and telling members to clear their clocks before marking if they are using them for training. It's a worry if one moment of forgetfulness can kill a race especially as we've had 15 years of not having to do it.

not sure but they are aware as I know people have called and they are saying its trainers in clock to every problem but I'll send a email and ask
