smiler Posted March 6 Report Share Posted March 6 I was a member of the successful partnership of Macaulay, Ferguson and Curran for some years and maintained the breeding stock at my home. As my partner, Gavin Ferguson, is no longer racing, due to health reasons, all race birds have since been sold via Pigeonbasics. I retain the stock team for my own use. Unfortunately, I will not be able to race from my home address at this time and will, therefore continue to offer 2024 young birds for racing and future stock. Stock remaining are a mixture of the long distance bloodlines which we purchased, at great expense, over the last few years. We were the principal purchasers at the entire clearance sales of the late John Ellis, Wellbank and Pat O'Sullivan, Enfield. Added to these are stock from the lofts of J. Mullen, Fife and J & A Donaldson, Peterhead. Our breeding and racing lofts have provided success for many fanciers over the years with reports of winners at all levels. This continued in 2022 with reports of high section prizes being taken in national racing as well as club and fed positions. Last year I joined a new partnership with the intention of testing these stock over the channel. We entered 2 inland SNFC inland races with the following results: SNFC Brighton 18/06/23, 26 sent from 1629 birds, 24th, 35th & 73rd open. SNFC Huntingdon 7/7/23, 21 sent from 1679 birds, 14th, 50th,122nd,138th,139th,140th, 143rd, 162nd,166th & 168th open. Unfortunately, due to impending major surgery this year, breeding is slightly later than previously but the quality of stock remains the same. It is with confidence that I offer racing kits of 6 for 2024 at £150. Also available, birds from the breeders of national section winners, including from the 2nd Open SNFC Maidstone cock 'JC' and from his parents as well as from my main stock birds.
