Guest spin cycle Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 ok i have got a plan if i buy one i will then use for a month or so intill rats are gone then sell it :-/ IMO thats not the way to carry on...if you want a ferret ( especially if you want it to do a 'dirty' job like ratting) you should be prepared to give it a good home/life.

Guest Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 i used to keep ferrets for rabbits...i used to prefer gills. one thing i noticed is that they don't like to get hot. a nice dry/ draft free hutch...but in a shady spot. kept cool i found them tranquil , clean nice animals. but they're real escape artists and killers...if they get with your birds. weldmesh for hutch fronts mine would bite through chicken wire. Excuse my ignorance but what's a gill? :-/
