20 years ago I purchased this bureau from an antiques shop in Edinburgh for ~£100.

I've been curious of it's origins.  A plaque details the encryption "Presented to Mr Andrew Fraser by a few fanciers in recognition of his valued services as Secretary of the East of Scotland Federation January 1905".

Just wanted to share as it is beautiful and to share his name again in his memory.  He must have been a special person.  The bureau is 118 years old and beautiful.
