Guest jason Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 What do you think of these, they are stainless steel so will last a lifetime. I'm in talks with supplier on prices, just wondered what fanciers think. They come with solid bottoms aswell (keep your car clean) and various sizes. Jason
tskyes Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 IF THE PRICE IS WRITE THEN YOU SHOULD GET ALOT OF BUSSINESS,GOOD LUCK MATE
Guest Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 Only one major drawback for me Jason, and that's no provision for drinking water.
Guest jason Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 Hadn't thought of that bruno, I'll give it a mention to supplier I'm still in talks over prices but I will let you know Jason
Chatrace Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 They will be very heavy, the Aluminum ones are even heavy when ya load them
Guest jason Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 The supplier says a 12-15 bird one weighs around 2 and 1/2 pound empty. They do them in alluminium aswell , 12-15 bird weighs around 2 pound. Jason
gangster Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 not a big difference there jason........
Guest jason Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 I'm guessing that the stainless will be thinner than the aluminium! either way, they won't rot they'll last forever. Jason
edthekid Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 let us know prices mate..................cheers
pigeonscout Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 The Handel and lock sit on top and not flush so stacking one on top of the other would not be possible.
Guest jason Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I think the bottoms are set up off the floor (they have a frame work round the edge) so I think they would stack. Jason

Guest jason Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 it depends on the price, he can't seem to make up his mind lol. anyway, I'll see what price he comes up with. Jason
Guest jason Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Its a no-go I'm afraid, He wants £50 sterling per crate, minimum order of 600 plus shipping from China, Without shipping its £30,000 :o But I know a couple of engineers (I used to refurbish meat processing machinery) they reckon they could make them for around £40, so they're going to do me a couple of samples, Watch this space. Jason
Wiley Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 be good to see also jason see if they can make somewhere were water can be accessible from?
