gordi.b Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Just back Andy less than half the size of previous years , attended a few auctions and saw some familiar face , very easy to walk around due to a much reduced attendance , had a great weekend and many laughs

bibendium Posted January 17, 2022 Report Posted January 17, 2022 I went down on Saturday, less stalls ,pretty quiet in side the Winter gdns compared to previous years ,but still a great day out , time to peruse the stalls that were there without the hustle and bustle that is normal.

Henrik Posted January 17, 2022 Report Posted January 17, 2022 Just back, had a guid weekend and although there were a lot of trade stands missing i managed to source everything I needed. Hopefully next year it will be back to a more normal time again. Was disapointed the the Pineapple Jack werent playing in the bar Sat and Sunday but there was 4 Different acts on both days in the bar, Roll on 2023
airdrie2 Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 POOR show in amount of stalls but a great weekend with great company as always ,pity most of the stall were allowed to start packing up as early as 11.00 on the sunday needs to be sorted ,or it will end up a one day show

dunc50 Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 Had a great weekend but as far as the show goes it was empty and very few trade stand's looking like the kungflew has put the nails in the coffin of the show of the year won't be viable to keep it going, jmo

Needless to say neither he nor anybody in his company bought a pigeon, it's a pity he didn't follow some of you! And according to him, it was quite busy at the Winter Gardens and most people were wearing masks! There was a saying not so long ago "Recollections may vary", my husband was waiting at the door at 8.30am Saturday, not sure if he was first in the queue, I downloaded his covid pass, took a screenshot of it, so he had the option of adobe pdf document or screenshot to show - he couldn't find either on his phone so showed his vaccination card! Despite great reviews for his hotel on the internet 4.9/5 score - it was not great in his eyes - he's easily pleased as well! I was glad of two days peace and quiet with just the dog for company 😁
