BIG BIRDS

[THE FIFER]

I was on my way from Leven to Crail this week taking the birds for a toss, and passing a field I got the fright of my life when I saw three big dark coloured bird hovering over a field, on getting closer I realised they were Kites (yes man made ones) the farmer had long poles with a sring attached from it and the kites were flying, zig zaging etc looked very real,, and they were a bit bigger than a crow, but looking like birds of pray, and i noticed there was not a crow or other bird in sight,

i e mailed the rspb one time and asked them if there was anything i could do to stop the hawks attacking the pigeons, they told me to hold a balloon [their plentiful ;D ;D] on a length of string , when releasing them ,hardly believable but true ;D,, but if i held one of them up fifer  ;D ;D ;D  well the birds might clear a bit quicker ;D,,,,but on the serious side , food for thought
