Guest shadow Posted May 26, 2006 Report Posted May 26, 2006 hyacinth ill bring a basket of ybs when i come in july to florida. You will need a second mortgage to take a basket of young birds to the USA it will cost you more than you could sell them for.

Guest Posted May 26, 2006 Report Posted May 26, 2006 Fife King It will cost you at least $200 maybe 3 to bring each bird into the US. Give me a call when you're in Florida, always love to chat with someone from home

keano Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 when someone offers you £30 for 8 ybs it must cost you that to rear them to the age they are now.
losalt Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 losalt take your bid and shove it where the sun dont shine. with people like this, who needs them in the sport,i am just starting of in the sport and when you have people like this, you can see why peole leave the sport.
Guest Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 It's a great pity there is no Help a Beginner Programme in the UK. If a person is registered on the programme they will get both breeding stock and young birds which are generously donated by flyers who want to help people get started in the Sport. Chatrace is sending a box of young birds this week to a new starter in Texas, who is desperately short of Babies and a flyer who is leaving the sport except for futurity races had kindly donated in the region of 100 breeders to the programme directly off his imported stock.
DRIES Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 with people like this, who needs them in the sport,i am just starting of in the sport and when you have people like this, you can see why peole leave the sport. your £30 bid for 8 well bred y/b's was a insult to the guy , no wonder he got the needle with you , you may have just started but your not that bright ,if you go around offending people, then you wonder why the guy got the hump. if you wanted the birds you should of bid a fair price, and if he knew you were a new starter he would of sold them to you. all the best for the future Dries
westburylofts Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 Have to agree with you Dries even as a new starter you have some idear of what yb's will cost you. Why did losalt not ask how much he was looking for the bird's Lets draw a line under this now and move on we have all learnt from this sort of thing. good luck all Ray
carl Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 your £30 bid for 8 well bred y/b's was a insult to the guy , no wonder he got the needle with you , you may have just started but your not that bright ,if you go around offending people, then you wonder why the guy got the hump. if you wanted the birds you should of bid a fair price, and if he knew you were a new starter he would of sold them to you. all the best for the future Dries If he is going to be insulted when someone places an offer he should name a starter price,if not then everyone has there rite to place an offer,no matter how much that offer is. If he is insulted thats his problem
keano Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 carl why dont you just ask him to send you the birds and pay the carrage as well,
carl Posted June 3, 2006 Report Posted June 3, 2006 carl why dont you just ask him to send you the birds and pay the carrage as well, CARL DOESNT WANT THE BIRDS,I HAVE BETTER
westburylofts Posted June 3, 2006 Report Posted June 3, 2006 Its comments like that carl that cause problems, you do not know if your birds are any better , as do i not know if my birds are better than yours, Lets all draw a line under this missunderstanding and learn from it. All The Best With Racing Today RAY
