This Blue Pied Hen was purchased at the record breaking sale of W & D.S Blenkhorn sale a couple of seasons ago. Only for the fact that young Lee is in love and has to dramatically cut down is this hen for sale. She is a direct daughter of the super “Calvin”.

SIRE : “Calvin” – 02Z83118 Ace racer winner of 19 prizes including 1st Fed, 1st Fed, 2nd Fed, 2nd Fed, 2nd Fed, 4th Fed etc (Fed positions quoted not club positions remember). His father is a direct son of “Benson” and “Golden Girl” whilst the mother was a direct Flor Vervoort hen.

DAM : 02Z83125. Father of this hen is a direct son of the immortal “Jester” x Carrie” pairing when he was mated to “Princess” – direct Dam of Champion Solitaire. The mother is 01S86375 a direct daughter of “Golden Girl” when she was mated to a direct son of “Shadow” x “Amber Louise”

This hen has a fantastic array of the best M & D Evans bloodlines running through her blood and she’s already produced good pigeons for A & L Painter.

Not that I'm aware of Fred..

However, the partnership moved house in 2005 so I think it's reasonable to say that only 2-3 have ever been raced off her & I know they've been in the clock.

It's certainly one with potential as opposed to proven, and I think that's shown in the price to be honest.
