Guest Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I always abide by the rules, may I suggest we await for the site to record the time and whoever was the last bid at 10 according to the site as the winner, if we are both recorded at ten, then the one who posted last. The only fair and correct way to do it
drewler Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 WERE DOES IT SAY WHAT TIME THE POST WAS AT
drewler Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 MY P.C MUST BE ALOT SLOWER THAN YOU BOYS R
Guest Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Vallance it has to be 10 by the site time. That's accepted I think on most sites. Having said that considering your stance. I'm happy to go with paying £50
drewler Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 WOULD YOU BOTH BE HAPPY TO SEND ME A COUNTERBID BY P.M HIGHEST BID WINS ITS UP TO YOU
drewler Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 OK THE COUNTERBID TIME STARTS FROM NOW YOU HAVE 5 MINS TO SUMIT IT TO ME GOOD LUCK
DOVEScot Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I always abide by the rules, may I suggest we await for the site to record the time and whoever was the last bid at 10 according to the site as the winner, if we are both recorded at ten, then the one who posted last. The only fair and correct way to do it This is the only fair way to do it, ask webmaster or moderators to check the times, not fair otherwise
DOVEScot Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 MY P.C MUST BE ALOT SLOWER THAN YOU BOYS R And this is one reason it's not fair, your PC acting up or too slow
DOVEScot Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I fel the best way forward on this auction is for me to withdraw my offer and give albear a free run on them, i am stl convinced that my bid was the last bid in time but not to worry. so to drewler my bid both on the site and by pm are now withdrawn What a guy
Guest Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Thank you Vallance, a nice gesture. Perhaps this highlights the need for the webmaster to set rules for any auction on here so that if a bid is received in the last 10 minutes, the auction continues for a further ten minutes, a code of conduct provision. I'm annoyed I didn't suggest this at the time!!
DOVEScot Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Are these birds sold or are we still arguing
