Guest Vic Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Yes! Garry and his dad done extremely well, flying into the Croxteth H.S. (my club) a few years back. I was in the Hillside at the time, having left, due to some pigeon political problems. I returned to the Croxteth, after 4 years in the Hillside, and enjoyed a seasons racing with the Crawfords. Then it happened! .They should have won the MNFC only to have it taken away from them, by NOT SORTING OUT THE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE with our famous Mr Lycett. I did hear, a deal with Massars worth quite a few bob was being discussed. Then BANG! pigeon not transferred. (Continued a bit later)
Guest Vic Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 It takes me longer to type these days, and nothing is more annoying when the efforts aren't forthcoming. Garry moved to Maghull, about seven tears ago, buying a house there, and raced for one season. He hasn't raced since, obviously "gutted" by a trivial mistake. I talked to Tommy Hawkins, a Maghull member who informs me. that he still lives in the same area. Our ex pres. (RPRA wise,) Bob Moffatt another Maghull resident, may be able to help you contact him. BUT I FEEL FOR GARRY, THE DREAM HE WAS LIVING, TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE. Sad but these are the facts. Vic.

Guest Vic Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 May I add, that I was not in the club, at the time, when the CRAWFORDS drove them CRACKERS. lol.
pjc Posted July 16, 2008 Author Report Posted July 16, 2008 thanks Vic, sad story but I think the one i'm looking for is still racing. Phil
