too many hawks here at the moment ,every day Im finding feathers of baby sparrows and blackbirds. I have tried putting holographic tape in the trees to scare them off. We have late young birds so I hope that the hawks go before the young birds are let out.

Used Taylors many times and both service and goods are excellent, however we are not finding the new delivery charges are as good.Small increase in weight put the delivery up by £3 by playing about with Hubbies pigeon shopping list some things became quite expensive when they put the delivery into the next band.

sorry to correct you STB but Cockburnspath do not fly with the UNC they fly in the East of Scotland fed.

I have heard that playing the sounds of an egale owl is a good deterrent against hawk attacks but I can't find where to buy the cd, does anyone use it or know where I can buy one cheers Ladydoo

Thanks to dark chequer I sent my order to Taylors and not Boddy and Ridewood, the order came within 3 days and was £40 cheaper than if I had ordered it from Boddy and Ridewood. Thanks Dark Chequer, Taylors will get my orders from now on

I have had run ins with Boddy and Ridewood. The first was waiting 10 days for a 48 hour delivery, when I telephoned to complain I was told 1, the 48 hours is from the time they dispatch the items not 48 hours to when I receive the goods and, 2, Blackpool show is in a couple of weeks and it is a busy time for us !!! the next time I used the next day delivery and items were missing from the delivery I received, when I phoned to advice them I was treated as a liar. We used them when setting up our loft and had spent about £2500 with them over the years, but never again.

Hi does anyone know if the pigeon show is on this year at the Brunton halls Musselburgh, it is usualy on next weekend but I have not seen anything about it this year
