I don't usually look for pedigrees in buying birds....I let my eyes and hands decide, I f a pigeon realy catches my eye I would definitely buy it even without pedigree, most fanciers here in the Philippines are obssesed with pedigrees, birds with papers fetch a higher price...

we have van de wegen, josh thone, tommy so, jansens, boxer holland and some taiwan birds.

the club training has started, and we lost one bird yesterday, must be the heat thats giving them a hardtime flying back, its really hot in the philippines right now.

thanks mate, all 3 pairs already have their eggs and expecting them to hatch by the 2nd week of january, i use clay pot and cat litter which is commonly used here in the Philippines

i have another cock who is 11 years old and he breeds realy well, the pair is in a separate cage for themselves, i have seen them mate a couple of times now...they are realy testing my patience...well thanks guys i'l give them a few weeks ands if nothing happens i'll separate them for a while...

does the age matter? tha cock is 9years old the hen is 1 year old

good day, fellow fanciers... we have recently acquired a pair of racing birds from taiwan as our foundation birds, the problem is how can get them to breed early, i have placed them in a cage away from the other birds, nest already in place, no eggs yet. it has been three months already...can anyone give me an advice on how can i start the to breed...thanks in advance..
