Thanks for all the advice guys. I don't have a loft ready yet but have a massive shed at the bottom of a hundred foot garden. I am thinking of converting that. Any memories I have as a child are probably way out of date. I know there is a local club, so I guess that would be the obvious port of call. I think ive been holding back because I felt I ought to have a little more knowledge first.

Hi, this is my first post. I want to get back into racing birds again. My only experience was as a child, my father was involved for a number of years. Just a little bit at a loss as to how to get started. What should I look out for when buying my first birds etc. Any advice for an out and out beginer would be appreciated.
