For fond races, I like to put the hen in the basket when the young is 2 days old.

The difference between the 2 places is nearly 5km. You must have very good pigeons in Wales for doinng those races!

Is there any bird clocked?

I have seen nothing. I was there at 6 but... It seems they have released pigeons from the parking of Villers instead of the parking of Verlaine... The weather was very good but the wind is quite heavy.

I will go again today. I will say to you how was the release.

Cloudy. South West 15-30 km/h. The weather was not so bad in Belgium. All the races from belgium for Holland or Belgium have been done. I was on the release place between 6.00 and 9.00 and we have not seen any welsh truck.

I totaly agree with you. But such a big percentage of inbreeding on a line is very rare. And I think it can be important to introduce that kind of inbreed product in your breeding team. Maybe I am wrong because I don't have many experience in inbreeding.

Hello, I was yesterday at an auction from Machiel Buijk That man breeds some fantastic Jan Aarden pigeons. Is there somebody on the forum who is palying with that Dolle Vangeel line? If yes, do you continue inbreeding? Whith what strain do you cross them? Is white wings an important sign is this line? Thanks Laurent

Hello. I have bought to the Rosmalen show a couple of chocolates Meulemans . Those birds have a very special colour (recessive red). Do you know some fanciers who have had success with that kind of pigeons? Do you think I must continue to inbreed? Thanks

It seems a good idea. For me the best age for a Barcelona pigeon is 3 years old. I hope it will be succesfull. Why not an English pigeon for 1st Int Barcelona 2009?
