hey all ive just started upand am just wondering if anyone can help me out! Ive got my yb and have another lot coming in few weeks so need to find a loft for them!! If anyone can help id appreciate it, as cheap as poss would be good I dont mind having to do repairs etc and if poss local ish to me in midlands would be amazing thanx wayne im thinking maybe 2/3 section loft and at mo mine are in converted aviarie and not big enough for more than 15 birds and already have 15 in there with 20 on way in bout 3weeks!!!! pm me with any info thanx

Hey all flew me ybs out 2day and ive had these 2 strays hanging about now for aweek!!! everytime mine are out they appear and til 2day i havent managed to get them in!!! Numbers are as follows GB 06 F16569 and GB 06 E 17321. Any help would be appreciated thanx contact me on 01789 764920

Im 25 and im only just starting out in the sport, Ive been really lucky that i have a good mate that has the same views as yourselves on the young taking interest!!!! Ive kept pigeons(rollers,fantail,american show racers,etc) for awhile now and he asked me to have ago if he bred me some young birds(which i have over 20 at mo with more on way!!!!) now im hooked!!! I have fallen in love with every aspect of the sport now and i plan on hopefully doing big things!!! and being a fancier for many years to come!!! I felt like replying as i have read the comments above and them all being good the one that got me was that of Owen's. Hes 72 and im 25 nearly 50 years difference(sorry to state that) but my point is that we all blame the RPRA and the older fanciers, well i believe we are rite to but there are some that will help anyone out, anyway they can!!! Ive had my mate in his 50s give me over 20 ybs, ive got 4 other lads young and old willing to give my some of thiers!!!! But i ask myself why do the certain "OLDER FANCIERS'' that say they love the sport and dont want it to die out not do the same for other young starters that these lads have done for me?????? I think we all know the answer to it MONEY!!! they wouldnt make money from giving the birds to someone that wants to start but cant afford to spend lots of cash!!! but if there were more fanciers the prizes in the races would be better and make the clubs that are struggling wouldnt be!!!!! am i the only person that sees this or not? thanx all. I was thinking getting rid of the others and putting everything into my ybs!! They are from a really good mate so ive got the help there from him but as im just starting its good to hear others views!! Sound advice recieved i think thanx bigda really explained well and they have all been jabed for PMV for me before he let me have them

excellent letter mate!! im new to the sport and have my first lot of ybs now and just starting training!!!! As it happens ive lived in my house in a town now for 5 years and never seen bop other than the odd kestral!!! But sat in with me ybs 2tay and something made me look out and i noticed a female sparrow hawk sat watching my lofts!!!! So something seriously needs doing or people like myself and other fanciers will be made to either give up due to losses of birds or will have to take matters into their own hands!!!! Me personally well my birds cost me alot same as all other fanciers so ill prtect whats mine!!!! You have my full support with this

HI all Right im just starting out ive been given 16 ybs 2010, and someone else offered me 15 others which are 1x 08 hen and 14x 09 hens but he was ment to find the transfer papers but now cant find them!!! My mate who bred the ybs for me has already seen the other 15 and disposed of a few of them as he said they were crap quality!! Im wondering if id be better doing the same with the rest as i dont think im going to get the papers, and all but 3 havent raced and are buggers to handle!!?? Does anyone have any ideas what id be best doing???? thanx hazza

hey folks ive got me loft sorted now and have had my new birds in for aweek now but how long is best to keep em in till i can fly em?? they are 09 birds and apparently only fly out a couple of times from the chaps loft that i got them off!! If anyone can advise me id be so greatful thax hazza

Hi im new here and to the world of fancy pigeons/garden fantails( what i have)!!!! ive always been interested in them but never had the space for them... Ive now got a pair which are apparently late 09 hatched and of show stock but they are not rung, !!! I want to know how i go about finding a club to show my birds in and advice on this if anyone can help id appreciate any info/advice!!! If you live near me (Alcester/birmingham)and were willing to guide me and id like to view show quality birds and learn from you!!! Many thanks and hope some1 can help me hazza84
