  1. by unusual I mean that one fancier do win from 1st to 15th in the club in all races (8 races ranging from 200-600km distance) knowing that windspeed in one race is tail wind 30km/h 300km distance and another one is 30km/h head wind 450km with the same birds. (I am not trying to proove he is cheating but just want to proove he is not as I am responsible of these ets clocks and results). Many of our club fanciers that are 10-30 yrs experienced fanciers and they do know how to win races do say that these results are not usual and that something is going on. About club system we follow a strict system (we have ppls that are in charge of basketting other than members) and no one can take any ring from the birds after being basketed for sure. What I wanted to make sure of is that after basketting for race no one can change anything in the clock without our notice (no hacks are there for the clocks). I know that if I asked the manufacturer he will say that nothing to be done but I wanted to make sure from other club secertaries in other clubs maybe they have experienced somthing. Regards
  2. Was wondering if any club secertary can help in this; I am responsible of all ets clocks related issues in my club, We are using benzing and bricon clocks, this year we have had unusual results that we feel that it is not fair, we do not do drug test on pigeon as we do not have it here. My question is is there anything a fancier can do to cheat in the ets clock after birds are basketed in the clock by any mean. I know he cannot but maybe I am missing something. What we do is we basket as club using the master clock. Suppose the fancier has another master clock home can he use it to cheat in the race?. Also what else than drugs can we check for. We are doing our best to make sure race is going ok. But who knows what cheating ppls can do?! Thanks
  3. Hi all; I was wondering if I can basket from a benzing G2 clock on a bricon club master, actually I set everything ok (unives box) but I cannot manage to see the UNIVES 1.7 message after choosing basketing menu and the race, message is only connect clock without unives 1.7. I could also manage to print from the G2 to the printer through the club master but only printing cannot basket. Hope someone here know how. thanks in advance
  4. has anyone used the bricon club master software on windows 7 or vista and found it working? is yes is there any special thing to do to make it work (any installation or something). Actually i am getting the attached picture of error when i tried it. and couldn't find an answer for it yet. I hope someone here can help me with these problems.

  6. Thank you tommy2
  7. thanks you guys our race here is on friday we have 10 station from 200kM up to 700kM, one race per week.
  8. thanks for your reply but still no one answered me. Actually I bypassed last year race not to rush myself into the sport, so patience is there, but I am finding roundabout easier for me to practice on my birds and the number of birds i have fit the system as i only have 20 birds (10 cock and 10 hens). Actually I can see no difference between roundabout an natural in the effort to be made (roundabout is a litle easier for me), in both you have to calculate quite well when eggs will be there. Anyway i hope someone answers my question in details. Another question to be added is how long can i keep roundabout sytem (our race is 10 weeks will they be on form all the 10 weeks or they will get used and loose interest after 4-6 weeks) so i will have to pair them ? and if i have to pair should i start with pairing in short races and then roundabout or roundabout then pair after 4-6 weeks? Regards to all.

  10. Hi all; I have been raising pigeon since one year and never raced. I have what i beleive a good stock and i allready bred 25 birds which are 4-6 monthes old. This year i am racing, our race starts 10th feb. this year and moult ends end of october so i will not have a chance to breed anymore for race. I was thinking to race the roundabout system this year and some natural hens. From what i have learned i have to pair them 75 days or something before race for one round then separate them then 2 weeks before race pair again and wait till eggs are 3-4 days then remove eggs then 2 days later remove hens and then i am set up for race. also show the hens (open the door between the sections) after each training/race for about 2-3hrs and mid week for half day.(our race is on fridays here) my questions are 1- if my understanding are correct? 2- is there any tips or tricks i am missing? 3- when should i start training both teams (while they are on the first round or when?)? 4- when showing the hens after each training and race do i have to lock the hen or not (i do not have this widowhood boxes but normal ones - they are not sold here where i live - )? 5- Do i have to show the hens before basketting or not? 6- what feed % you think correct (i usually feed same mix of 30% peas, 30%maize, 10%pellets, 10%wheat, 10% bean, 10% millet) 7- I have to use electrolytes as it is a bit hot weather here before and after race ? 8- Do i have to use vitamines and amino acids as most fancier here do or if birds are healthy they can compete well? regards to you all (please answer in detail)
  11. thanks, what i meant is do you think there are equal chance for both ets and old timer (if same conditions apply to all) and is there any rules that club has to make to keep equal chances (as keeping the pad inside or pad location - inside or outside- has no difference). I am asking cause if you think about it you find old timers need to catch the pigeon and take the rubber band out then inside the clock then clock it while ets it just clock by itself. And if pad is left outside then trapping is not an issue for ets while still an issue for old timer.
  12. Hi all; Was wondering how a club can manage to have both ETS and old timer in the same season. Was asking cause our club is shifting to ets clock and will keep the old one also but do not know how to manage the difference between both clocks. to explain more; do we have to keep pads inside the loft after the trap? is there any other precaution or advise to make so both timing system have equal chances ?? thanks
