Hi, I have been keeping pigeons for about 4 years, and every year i seem to loose about 15 - 20 young birds from the top of the loft. ( Before Training Starts). This year i thought i was taking it easy, i lost 1 two weeks ago, three last Friday, and 10 today, i never have these birds reported and they never come back. I am now seriously thinkink of packing it all in, as i cannot keep going on like this. Flyers in the same road and around dont seem to loose birds, why me? what am i doing wrong? Some help would seriously be appreciated!! Bob

Hi, Cat got one of my Yearling cocks yesterday, none of them would come in at all, treated the shed roof as though it was burning hot, jumping etc. Had all cocks out Friday night, but still have four out now, these have not been fed since Thursday at 4.00pm, traps are open etc. Any ideas how to get the last four in???????? I have had young that cannot fly on the ground, and in the sputnik,still no good. or will they come in when they are really scabby hungry. Thanks Bob

Karl, its not too soon to breed now, but the problem is will you receive your 2008 rings in time. Obviously when you pair up approx 10-14 days the hen should lay, 21 days incubation, 5 days to ring, so if you can get your rings in 5-6 weeks ...No problem! Bob

Why oh why when people advertise birds on this forum do people make such crappy and stupid remarks. 1/ Why are you selling it. 2/ Whats it bred etc 3/ If i had the money i would buy it etc. You either want the bird or not!!
